COBRA Is Now The Official Self Defense Vendor For The Girl Scouts of West Central Florida.
How do leaders of the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida choose a partner to help them teach their 18,000 members how to be safe?
These leaders chose a practical, real-world-based self-defense system, not a cage-fighting, sport-based system. And they partnered with a self-defense organization that believes that learning to be safer should be the goal for everyone, no matter their size, level of experience, gender or age. They also partnered with a self-defense organization with the flexibility to offer training for both girls and their parents at Girl Scout camps throughout 8 counties, as well as at local C.O.B.R.A. facilities.
Anti-Bully Program
It all starts with the anti-bully program. The Anti-Bully Response Training is the spearhead for getting new sign ups for different self-defense training offerings. C.O.B.R.A.’s Anti-Bully Response Plan is a law enforcement based anti-bullying program that is non-violent and non-confrontational. The program treats bullying like a crime and follows proven, established protocols to create an evidence trail, a chain of custody, and build a rock solid legal case against the bully.
